Overview of how good governance principles are implemented in Europe:

* Questionnaire: the questionnaire collected relevant data on the implementation of good governance principles and different governance models. The analysis of the questionnaire is available in the download section of the website and has fed into the communicational and educational material produced during the project.

* Peer review meetings: good practice examples identified during the various project activities have been presented and discussed to get in-depth knowledge. The reports on these meetings have been published in the download section and have also contributed to the communicational and educational material produced during the project. One of the peer review meetings was held in the Netherlands. The process of the Dutch Olympic Committee NOC*NSF was later on identified as the best practice examples.

Educational material:

* Educational toolkit "Your key to good governance" has been developed with a specific view to support national umbrella sport organisations and national sport federations.

* The toolkit contained several elements including a master presentation, implementations examples and a self-evaluation tool. Especially the letter was conceived as a very useful tool. By answering 14 questions, organisations are able to get a snapshot of their performance. The spider web, which is generated based on the provided answers, shows the strengths and weaknesses of the implementation of good governance principles, thereby raising awareness and providing starting points for discussion.

* The full toolkit is available in the download section of the website.

Training sessions:

* On the basis of the educational material, several training sessions have been hosted in the framework of the project, but also after the project run time. Participants ideally include representatives of national federations, employees and members of the Executive Body of the National Olympic Committee (NOC).

* A draft on how to organise a training session has also been included in the toolkit.
